Note: If you see “No Signal” or the screen flickers, try connecting an external 5V/2A power adapter to the extender
Q1: Why does my extended monitor show “No Signal”?
A1: This usually happens when the connection isn’t set up correctly. Try these steps:
- If you’re using a single USB-C to USB-C cable:
Make sure your laptop’s USB-C port supports both charging and video output. Then plug the cable into the TYPE-C1 or TYPE-C2 port on the extender.
- If you’re using HDMI + USB-A to USB-C (2 cables):
Plug the HDMI cable into the bottom HDMI port on the back of the extender. Then use the USB-A to USB-C cable to power the extender. Finally, wake up your laptop.
Q2: My laptop screen extender flickers or goes black. What should I do?
A2: This is usually a power issue. Try adding an extra USB-A to USB-C cable to power your laptop or the extender— that often solves it.
Q3: The laptop monitor extender is still black or flickering after connecting. Why?
A3: Your laptop may not have enough power. Try charging the portable monitor with an external power adapter (5V/2A).
