The speed is absolutely incredible — transferring files is now a breeze. It's also super compact, which is a huge plus for someone like me who's always on the go; I can just toss it in my bag without a second thought. I've tested it with my iPhone and my MacBook Pro, and it works seamlessly with both; it’s a must-have for anyone who needs to quickly back up or transfer large files . I'm really happy with this snag; it's made my workflow so much smoother, and I can't imagine going back to my old, slow external hard drive; it also comes in handy when I’m editing on the road; I can’t recommend this enough.

I tested this SSD with 40GB of music files, 4500+ files total, and the copy from my laptop took only 2 minutes and 10 seconds. The same copy from a standard USB flash disk took over 15 minutes.
The drive is quite compact – only about three inches wide and an inch long, not counting the connector. So it's a great option to carry content while travelling, and allow you to get it on whatever machine needs it very quickly.
That three inch width means that it might cover up other ports on your laptop, so having a good USB-C data cable to plug it in is advised.
If you do plug it in directly, be careful that nothing puts any stress on it. You can see on my attached photo that it could easily be flexed and either damage the drive or damage the port. That problem exists with any USB-based disk that's directly plugged in, of course, but this one is pretty wide, so it's more likely to encounter something that stresses it. I don't recommend leaving it directly plugged in while stored in your bag for travelling.
I put it on my Android tablet after copying those music files, and it worked instantly. The Files app saw it right away, and offered a new storage option named Portable SSD, shown on the photo of the Android screen that I've included.
This is going in my standard travel kit to serve as a large capacity, fast transfer storage volume. Recommended.

It has 2 ends a USB and a USB-C end, so it works for both ports. If you want to take advantage of the entire speed, I suggest using the USB-C end.
